Proverbs 1: Guidance for a Student

1 The proverbs of Solomon (Solar-man; Man of Sol, Sun, Christ) the son of David, king of Israel (Is = Isis, the Divine Mother, Ra = Amun-ra, the Divine Mother; El = Hebrew for God; David is the malachim (king), the INNER BEING who commands in the house of Is-Ra-El. Sol-o-man is His Son, the Solar Man, or man who has created the bodies of the Soul; that is, he is BORN AGAIN);

2 To know wisdom (Hebrew = Chokmah, the Christ) and instruction (knowledge = Daath); to perceive (clairvoyantly) the words (Verb, the Word which IS) of understanding (Hebrew = Binah, the Holy Spirit);

3 To receive the instruction of wisdom (Chokmah), justice (Geburah), and (karmic) judgment, and (psychological) equity (the TAO);

4 To give subtilty (shrewdness of the serpent of Moses) to the simple (fools, so they will become wise), to the (spiritually) young man knowledge (DAATH, Gnosis) and discretion (hermetic silence).

5 A wise man (man of Wisdom, Chokmah, Christ: a bodhisattva) will hear (intuitively), and will increase learning (Gnosis); and a man of understanding (Binah, the Holy Spirit) shall attain unto wise counsels (Chokmah, Christ): (these men, having incarnated high levels of Light, receiving instruction from that Light in accordance with their level)

6 To understand a proverb (the symbols), and the interpretation (the meanings); the words (Christic phrases, mantras) of the wise, and their dark sayings (riddles, koans).

7 The fear (Hebrew = pehar, respect) of the LORD (YHVH, the Yod (male) and Heve (female)) is the beginning of knowledge (Daath): but fools despise wisdom (Christ) and instruction (Gnosis).

8 My (spiritual) son, hear the instruction (Gnosis) of thy father (teacher, guide, guru), and forsake not the law of thy (Divine) mother:

9 For they shall be an ornament of grace (astral virtues) unto thy head (crown, kether), and (golden) chains (of honor) about thy neck.

10 My son, if sinners (fornicators) entice thee, consent thou not.

11 If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood (spiritual energy), let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause: (let us present our teachings to sleeping humanity, to take control of them by using their pride, lust and fear)

12 Let us swallow them up alive as the grave (Sheol; hell, the abyss); and whole, as those that go down into the pit (Klipoth):

13 We shall find all precious substance (Christic energies), we shall fill our houses with spoil: (we shall steal the vital energies of our disciples)

14 Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse: (for they are deceivers who speak as angels but have the hearts of wolves, and who make promises of eternal life and easy gains)

15 My son, walk not thou in the way with them (reject false teachings); refrain thy foot from their (degenerating) path:

16 For their feet run to evil (devolution), and make haste to shed blood (spiritual energy).

17 Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird. (be alert as the bird for the net of the spiritual liars)

18 And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives. (for the results of their actions will always follow them)

19 So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the (spiritual) life of the owners thereof. (the true teachers do not demand memberships or contracts or obedience; they merely indicate that we should follow only our own Inner Being)

20 Wisdom (Christ, who is one with SOPHIA) crieth without; she uttereth her voice (Verb) in the streets:

21 She (Sophia) crieth (the real teachings) in the chief place of concourse (public places), in the openings of the gates (without hiding the real nature of Gnosis): in the city she uttereth her words, saying,

22 How long, ye simple ones (fools), will ye love simplicity (ignorance)? and the scorners (blasphemers) delight in their scorning (of Gnosis), and fools hate knowledge (Gnosis)?

23 Turn you at my reproof (turn yourself; change, for Sophia calls you): behold, I will pour out my spirit (of Wisdom) unto you, I will make known my words (Gnosis) unto you.

24 Because I have called (through my bodhisattvas), and ye refused (because you love perishable, worldly things); I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded (instead, you are identified with politics, money, lust, and materials things);

25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would (hear) none of my reproof:

26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

27 When your fear (terror) cometh as desolation, and your (karmic) destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

28 Then shall they (the fools) call upon me, but I will not answer (for they must pay what they owe); they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

29 For that they hated knowledge (Gnosis), and did not choose the fear of the LORD (the respect of His Laws):

30 They would (hear) none of my counsel (guidance to change psychologically): they (the fools) despised all my reproof.

31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way (they shall receive what they are due), and be filled with their own devices (their own works will be turned back upon them).

32 For the turning away (ignorance; lack of gnosis) of the simple (fools) shall slay them, and the (selfish) prosperity of (egotistical) fools shall destroy them.

33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me (Sophia, Christ) shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet (serene) from fear of evil (devolution in the abyss).
